This very large, family owned villa can be rented from 2010 for the first time; prior to this date it has been used by the family as their home and therefore has been well maintained over the years.
Villa Özgen is a large town villa, suitable for up to ten guests, and is tastefully decorated with wooden floors throughout. It is located in the heart of Kalkan, and is situated just a 2 minute walk from the local beach. With its central location, and with superb roof terrace views across Kalkan, this is a fantastic villa to stay in. Despite its central location there is ample parking outside of the property for those guests who wish to hire a car to visit places around Kalkan.
The main entrance to the property brings you to the first floor of the property, and as with throughout the property, there is plenty of storage space within the hall area of the villa. On this floor are 2 master double bedrooms with air conditioning, both of which are en-suite, with built in wardrobes plus a chest of drawers and bedside tables in both rooms. Each room has a balcony with a washing line attached to the wrought iron railings. Also on this floor are a bathroom, and a twin bedroom. There is no air conditioning in the twin room, but a stand alone fan is provided in the room. Next to the main entrance door is a utility room with a washing machine, ironing board and iron. Additionally there is a balcony with a washing line just outside the utility room for convenience.
Wooden stairs lead you down from the first floor, to the ground floor. This floor can also be accessed via an ornate wooden gate from the road level. This level is where the large swimming pool is situated set in to a large terrace where patio furniture, sun loungers and a barbeque are provided. As this was originally a family home, there is also a small but pretty garden planted with Mediterranean shrubs and plants.
There are patio doors which lead from the pool terrace to the kitchen/diner of the villa. The kitchen is a modern, fully fitted kitchen complete with all the usual appliances to make catering during your stay easy and convenient which include 2 American style fridge/freezers, a microwave, built in oven, gas hob with extractor hood and a dishwasher. The dining area has a large table, with sufficient seating for 10 people as well as a group seating area.
Next to the kitchen is the ground floor bathroom which boasts a large Jacuzzi style bath. Opposite the bathroom is the villa’s large lounge area, with plenty of seating and views of the swimming pool, sun terrace and garden. There is a television and DVD player in the lounge.
Returning back up to the first floor, and the villa’s main entrance, wooden stairs lead you up to the second floor of the property and find another large master double bedroom, with air conditioning, and en-suite bathroom. Once again there is ample storage space and the bedroom has a very large terrace area. Next to this master bedroom is a second large lounge area with plenty of seating and a small kitchen with fridge/freezer, sink, built in cupboards and a gas hob.
The next flight of stairs, lead you to the third floor of the property. This floor is set in the roof of the property and has 2 twin beds. As with the other twin room, there is no air conditioning, but again a stand alone fan is provided in the room. There is a door which leads from the bedroom to the villa’s roof terrace which offers superb views across the whole of Kalkan with Kalkan bay directly in front of you.
The villa is cleaned weekly, and towels/bed linen for 10 people are provided at the property.
Your holiday representative will visit you on the first day following your arrival to make sure that everything is in order, but will then just be on hand by telephone (or visit if required) so that you can have the peace and independence you want.
